We create impactful change for a new, shared Australian identity. The studio’s ethos is design excellence and deepening the understanding of Australia’s foundational narrative for major art and design projects nationally and internationally.
Balarinji’s work spans urban regeneration, infrastructure, precinct planning, graphic design and branding campaigns, public art and curatorial, workplace interiors and digital.
We build community capacity by commissioning local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, fostering and mentoring local art practice, and by growing partnerships with established and emerging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, designers and businesses.
Our workplace fosters a diverse and passionate team, aligned with authentic engagement, collaboration and respect. We are designers, project managers, historians, curators, researchers, creative practitioners and management professionals – and we are always interested in talking with innovative, curious, committed people.
